Inara

Inara is like the facebook for Elite Dangerous. Here you can find groups of cmdrs to fly with or create a page for your own group. It also has a long list of useful features for keeping track of in-game factions and systems as the background simulation changes.
You can also find a long list of useful information on engineering and look up where the best sell location for a given material is.
Coriolis

Coriolis is a ship building website where you can plan out your ship builds and get a long list of metrics about your ship that is not available in-game. It is the most common platform used when sharing ship builds between cmdrs.
Neutron plotter

Route plotter, so you can plot a route between systems prioritizing neutron star supercharging to reduce your journey time. Also allows you to plot further than the 20,000 Ly available in game
ED Engineer

EDEngineer is a program used to track materials, data and cargo acquired in Elite Dangerous. It allows you to easily keep track of what you have and what you need to do your next engineering upgrade.
ED Market Connector

This app downloads your Cmdr's details and system, faction, scan and station data from the game and uploads them to the Elite Dangerous Data Network (EDDN). This network is used to update the market data on sites like EDDB and Inara, as well as update newly found systems.
If you have a profile on Inara it can also upload Cmdr's details, ship details, cargo, materials, missions, community goal progress, and flight log to your profile.
Voice Attack

Add your voice as an extra controller with voice commands that YOU create. Give specific instructions to your freighter or control your ship, all with your voice. They have also partnered up with HCS voicepacks allowing your ships to reply back to you.
